About Men’s Sober Living in Los Angeles, CA

At the time, long-term, sober living resident services for teens and young men in Los Angeles were unavailable. Soon after admitting the younger people, certain things became apparent. The disparity in their emotional ages, social skills, and life experiences was significant enough to require different approaches for each group of men for sobriety. New Life House has helped young men stay sober for over 35 years. We came from very humble beginnings, and would love to tell you our story of success and recovery.

New Life House is here to help young men continue their recovery journey. This way, they can enjoy the benefits of sober living in a caring and supportive environment. We have New Life House Review homes near Redondo Beach and Los Angeles to help young men with personalized program options. Additionally, we can help them with employment or education opportunities, and ongoing recovery support. One of the primary benefits we offer our residents is there is no set limit to the length of residency. Patients are free to live in one of our homes as long as necessary.

We understand the importance of allowing them to work on your recovery at their own pace. Today, I am able to give back to the community what Jada and New Life House of Hope gave me. Jada and her team and my sisters at New Life House of Hope have encouraged me and helped me get to where I am today. Before getting here, I was just another addict with a bad habit. They have helped me gain so many tools and resources that I need to flourish. Founded in San Pedro by Perry Petacia, New Life House was formed to directly serve young men in recovery.

Alumni Program

An alcoholic himself, Perry had been through a recovery center that emphasized identifying and modifying self-sabotaging behavior.

Stability, Support and Structure guides each resident to their new life. Our structured sobriety programs have helped house members from all different cities, backgrounds and cultures. Our 12-Step Social Program for recovery from substance abuse  includes therapy, peer support and medication management for you to recover safely. Proudly providing a community-driven, structured approach to sobriety for young men and transforming families lives in the South Bay for over 35 years.

At New Life House, in addition to strengthening life skills, growing community, and developing character, our young men have the opportunity to participate in a number of curated higher education opportunities. Our educational program is designed to help young men further their education, earn their next achievements and degrees, and learn fundamental life and relationship skills. With all the love and support from  Jada and the staff, today I can say I am the best version of myself. This program helped me get my children back in my care and today I have a home for them. New Life House offers services that is proven for a successful transition to recovery living.

In addition, the NSM seeks to shape international norms around AI use to reflect those same democratic values, and directs actions to track and counter adversary development and use of AI for national security purposes. Today, President Biden is issuing the first-ever National Security Memorandum (NSM) on Artificial Intelligence (AI). The NSM’s fundamental premise is that advances at the frontier of AI will have significant implications for national security and foreign policy in the near future.
